Help Us, Help Them

Volunteering on the school board is a non-paid position requiring about 10-15 hours of dedication weekly, 12 months per year.  Nearly all school boards pay their trustees but we on the AADUSD board, have repeatedly voted to forgo any type of pay or benefits as we feel that having a paid position would attract the wrong type of candidate to the job.  Furthermore, ours is a small district that runs on a tight budget.   

Running a campaign for the school board is a process taking several months and about $2,500 or more in total cost to each applicant.  I would greatly appreciate your generous donation to offset this cost to me, if you feel that you share my philosophy, approve of my accomplishments over the last ten years and support my candidate goals.  Thank you!
